Job Description

We are having urgent opening for Seating Structure Engineer with strong experience in automotive seat structure design and development using UGNX (Siemens NX).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive seating structures including seat frames, side members, cross members, brackets, and mounting structures.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using UGNX.
• Strong hands-on experience in Surface Modelling, Solid Modelling, Sheet Metal Modelling, and Assembly Modelling.
• Perform seat packaging, clearance & interference checks, and interface studies.
• Develop designs considering DFM/DFA, manufacturing feasibility, ergonomics, strength, and weight optimization.
• Prepare 2D drawings with GD&T, tolerances, and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with Design, CAE, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier teams for product development and issue resolution.
• Support design reviews, engineering changes, validation, and production release.
• Ensure compliance with applicable automotive standards, safety, and customer requirements.
