The Job

• Utilising SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
• Preparing detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications for manufacturing
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production and procurement, to ensure the successful implementation of designs

Responsibilities

• To develop and creating new products or systems based on specifications and requirements provided by customers.
• To collaborate with other professionals (Project Manager, manufactures and quality assurance personnel) to ensure that the product is produced based on customer’s concept and requirements.
• To develop BOM & costing for new products and update existing BOM on any changes of materials or unit prices.
• To creates visual designs based on client requirements. Using software Adobe Illustrator & photoshop and solidwork.

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in the use of SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D modelling, 2D drafting, and design analysis
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Familiarity with engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and design standards
• Adaptability to changes in technology and a willingness to learn new skills
