What they need
- At least 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in machine design, automation, semiconductor equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, assembly, and 2D detailed drawings.
- Knowledgeable in mechanical design principles, tolerances, fits, GD&T, and material selection.
- Familiar with machining, sheet metal, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
- Able to prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Capable of developing machine concepts based on customer requirements and specifications.
- Able to perform design modifications and improvements on existing machines and equipment.
- Knowledge of pneumatic components, sensors, actuators, motors, and other machine components is an advantage.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment is an advantage.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to coordinate with customers, suppliers, fabrication teams, and field/service engineers.
- Can work independently and manage multiple design projects within required timelines.
