Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 2 4 years of experience in mechanical design and product development. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently on design tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. This role involves creating and maintaining engineering designs, supporting production, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support design engineering activities independently for ongoing and new projects.
• Collaborate with product engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
• Provide design support for existing products and resolve production-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, drafting guidelines, and best practices.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications, and technical instructions.
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.

Required Skills Qualifications

• 2 4 years of experience in mechanical/product design.
• Hands-on experience in Creo (Creo 4 preferred) and Windchill (PLM).
• Strong expertise in:
  • Sheet Metal Design
  • Assembly Modeling
  • Detailed Drawing Creation
• Good understanding of GDT (Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing).
• Experience with Top-Down Design approach.
• Knowledge of Tubing Design and ETO (Engineer-to-Order) projects.
• Ability to create and manage BOM and ECN documentation.
• Strong drawing interpretation and dimensioning skills.
