Design Intern

Intro

Mir Tech is looking for a Design Intern to join our team and get hands-on experience creating real marketing and digital work.

We work with founder-led B2B companies across their positioning, marketing and GTM execution — which means you'll get exposure to different brands, industries and types of creative work.

This isn't an internship where you'll spend three months resizing banners.

You'll work alongside our designers, marketers and copywriters to turn ideas and messaging into creatives that actually get shipped.

About You

You might be a good fit if:

• You have a good eye for design and genuinely enjoy making things look good.
• You're studying or recently graduated in Design, Multimedia, Advertising, Marketing or a related field.
• You're comfortable using tools like Canva, Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• You're curious about AI tools and new ways of designing faster.
• You can take a brief, ask questions when you're unsure, and improve based on feedback.
• You're organised enough to manage multiple small tasks and deadlines.
• You care about the message, not just making something pretty.
• You have a portfolio — university, freelance and personal projects are completely fine.

You do not need years of professional experience. We're looking more at your design instincts, willingness to learn and ability to execute.

About The Role

You'll support our team in creating:

• Social media and LinkedIn creatives
• Carousels, infographics and marketing visuals
• Website and landing page assets
• Presentation and pitch deck designs
• Brand templates and design systems
• Simple video and motion content where relevant
• Creative concepts for Mir Tech and our clients
• AI-assisted creative experiments and prototypes

Qualifications

We're keeping this simple:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Design, Multimedia, Advertising or a related field
• Basic proficiency in at least one major design tool
• Good written and spoken English
• Able to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on your work
• Portfolio or examples of previous design work

Bonus, but absolutely not required: Figma, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, basic motion/video editing, AI image/design tools, or experience designing for social media.

**Use modern creative workflows.**Work with Figma/Canva/Adobe alongside AI tools to prototype and produce work faster.

**Work as part of a real delivery team.**Collaborate with designers, copywriters, marketers and project teams — rather than designing everything in isolation.

Internship Duration

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
