Design Intern

Role Overview

A creative and enthusiastic Designer – On-Job Trainee (OJT) to support the design team at iSprout Business Center, Hyderabad. This on-site training program is designed for fresh graduates or entry-level candidates who are looking to gain practical exposure in workspace and interior design within the managed office space environment.

The trainee will assist in developing design concepts, preparing layouts, coordinating with vendors, and supporting site execution to help deliver visually appealing and functional workspaces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Support & Concept Development (Core Focus)

• Assist the design team in understanding project briefs, design requirements, and objectives.
• Support the development of creative and innovative design concepts for office spaces.
• Assist in preparing layouts, space plans, furniture arrangements, and basic design drawings.
• Support selection of colour schemes, materials, and finishes as per project requirements.

2. Design Documentation & Software Support

• Assist in preparing drawings and presentations using design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Support preparation of mood boards, concept presentations, and design documentation.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, design versions, and project files.

3. Brand & Aesthetic Alignment

• Support the team in ensuring that all design outputs align with the company’s brand identity and visual standards.
• Assist in incorporating feedback received from internal teams and stakeholders into revised design concepts.

4. Vendor & Site Coordination Support

• Assist in coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for material specifications and samples.
• Support site visits along with senior designers to ensure design intent is maintained during execution and installation.
• Assist in monitoring project progress and resolving minor design-related clarifications.

5. Trend Research & Learning

• Research current design trends, workspace planning concepts, and best practices in the Managed Office Spaces .
• Support the design team with reference materials and innovative ideas for upcoming projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Design Skills: Basic knowledge of space planning, layouts, and interior design principles.
• Software Skills: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Creative Ability: Good creative and conceptual thinking skills with an eye for detail.
• Communication: Good verbal and presentation skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
