The Design & Project Delivery Lead is responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle from design development through on-site construction delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure the design is effectively executed and project objectives are achieved.

What do you need?

• Mechanical Engineering - lead /senior level (8+ yrs)

• Execution and client/project responsibility.

• Client-facing capability

• Able to review, challenge and approve technical designs

• Capable to manage the whole journey: Client requirement concept/design technical review coordination site execution problem resolution commissioning/handover

• Middle East project experience

• Spent meaningful time on active client/project sites.

• Taken designs through to installation/implementation.

• Solved technical problems where the theoretical design doesn't quite work in practice.

• Worked directly with contractors/installers/suppliers.

• Managed commissioning, snagging and/or handover where relevant.

• Made technical decisions under project/time constraints.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education: A bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Engineering, Mechanical or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience of no less than 8 years in a design/engineering role, preferably in a regional context within critical environments such as data centre, construction, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor, power generation or oil & gas industry.
