Design Manager, ADA

For our client, we are seeking a Design Manager, ADA to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will guide complex design-build programs from execution planning through delivery, with a strong emphasis on client coordination, regulatory engagement, and disciplined project controls.

The position requires close collaboration with internal managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align scope, budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.

The ideal candidate will bring both technical depth and business leadership to help drive safe, efficient, and compliant project outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $148,300 – $266,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Act as the company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution
• Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings
• Oversee establishment of project execution, health and safety, and quality control plans
• Establish program requirements and monitor deliverables adherence
• Direct and supervise all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions
• Mobilize company resources to create effective project teams
• Develop budgets, schedules, and plans in collaboration with managers
• Monitor project progress and advise on potential cost overruns or delays

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field
• 15-20 years of related work experience
• Professional Engineering license in NY
• 5 years of experience delivering Design-Build projects
• Broad technical and business background
