Design Manager (C&S) | MRT, A1 Main Contractor

Join a reputable A1 main contractor with a strong track record in delivering landmark building and infrastructure developments. As their project pipeline continues to expand, they are looking for a C&S Design Manager/Technical Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting major MRT/Civil Infrastructure projects during this exciting phase. Multiple openings are available across a wide range of projects in Singapore.

What you will do

• Manage and oversee design or planning activities to ensure objectives are met within budget and timeline.
• Review structural drawings, technical submissions, and design documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and authority regulations.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, architects, M&E teams, clients, and site teams to resolve design and technical issues.
• Oversee design schedules, submissions, approvals, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct buildability and value engineering reviews to enhance construction efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Provide technical support during tender, planning, and construction stages.
• Mentor junior engineers and support overall project coordination.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a PE Board recognized university
• Minimum 8 years of relevant C&S design & coordination experience with large scale projects
• Experienced Senior Engineers who are seeking career progression may be considered
