Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Technical Manager – Design & Drafting to work on a contract basis. The role involves overseeing design and drafting operations, ensuring alignment with technical standards and project requirements. The position requires leadership in managing drafting teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of designers and drafters to deliver high-quality technical drawings and documentation.

• Review and approve design drafts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to integrate drafting outputs into broader project deliverables.

• Implement and maintain drafting workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff within the drafting team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design and drafting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit).

• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and industry regulations.

• Experience managing drafting teams and coordinating with engineering departments.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in reviewing technical documents.
