Design Manager

Role Description

Responsible for leading the design team and managing the development of creative projects from concept to completion. The role ensures that all design work meets the company's brand standards, project requirements, quality expectations, and deadlines while providing strong creative direction and maintaining consistency across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and coordinate the design team and daily creative activities.
• Develop creative concepts, design directions, and visual strategies.
• Review and approve design concepts, layouts, artwork, and final deliverables.
• Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and project requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, product, and other departments on design projects.
• Manage multiple design projects and ensure timely completion.
• Assign projects and priorities to designers according to workload and requirements.
• Provide creative direction, feedback, and coaching to design team members.
• Maintain consistency across branding, marketing, digital, print, and promotional materials.
• Oversee designs for social media, websites, advertising campaigns, presentations, packaging, signage, and other marketing materials.
• Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, printers, contractors, and creative suppliers when required.
• Monitor project timelines, resources, budgets, and production requirements.
• Present creative concepts and design proposals to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure final artwork meets quality standards and is production-ready.
• Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and industry developments.
• Improve design processes, workflows, and creative standards within the team.

Requirements

• Strong creative thinking and visual communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of design principles, typography, layout, colour, and branding.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign , or equivalent design software.
• Knowledge of digital design, social media content, and UI/UX is an advantage.
• Able to translate business objectives and creative briefs into effective design solutions.
• Good project-management and organizational skills.
• Creative, proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required to meet project or campaign deadlines.
