Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead the design, development, costing, and technical validation. The candidate should have strong knowledge of cable design, manufacturing processes, material optimization, and applicable technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of OFC and OPGW products as per customer specifications and industry requirements.
• Prepare cable design calculations, design sheets, Bill of Materials (BOM), material consumption reports, and product costing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC, ITU-T, TEC, and other relevant standards.
• Review RFQs, tenders, technical specifications, and prepare technical proposals.
• Drive value engineering, material optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales teams for product development and execution.
• Manage product testing, qualification, technical documentation, and customer approvals.
• Lead and guide the design team to ensure design accuracy, timely completion, and continuous process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5–12 years of relevant experience in OFC cable design and product development.
• Strong knowledge of OFC/OPGW cable construction, raw materials, design calculations, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in BOM preparation, product costing, material optimization, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of domestic and international cable standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Working knowledge of SAP MM/PP or similar ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
