Design Manager - Retail

We are looking for an experienced Manager AutoCAD to lead the CAD design function for retail interior projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on AutoCAD expertise combined with proven experience managing a team of CAD designers, driving design quality, and ensuring timely delivery across multiple retail store formats (Hi-Street & Mall).

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of CAD designers/executives, allocating work and reviewing output to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Own the end-to-end creation and review of detailed design drawings using AutoCAD software for Retail Shops (Hi-Street & Mall).
• Partner with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business and design requirements into accurate, buildable CAD drawings.
• Oversee the development of detailed floor plans that optimize retail space, factoring in traffic flow, product placement, and customer experience.
• Establish and enforce CAD drawing standards, templates, and best practices across the team.
• Review designs for accuracy, compliance with building codes and regulations, and adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field..
• Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of CAD designers.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software; experience with other design software (3D/rendering tools) is an added advantage.
• Strong command of AutoCAD 2D drawing is a must.
