Design Technician

Cornish Concrete Products make specialist pre cast concrete products to order and operate internationally.

We are looking for full time Design Technicians to join our growing team of designers for our busy company.

Due to ongoing growth Cornish Concrete Products currently have multiple vacancies for a Design / Structural Technician’s to join our team.

An opportunity to join one of the UKs leading manufacturers of precast concrete.

At CCP you will have the opportunity work on exciting projects located throughout the UK, consisting of architectural cladding, structural components and highly bespoke precast concrete products.

• To work as a member of the design team and support the company as a whole
• To produce general arrangement, mould, reinforcement and detail drawings in line with company procedure using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures
• Undertake and track necessary revisions to drawings based upon comments received
• Report any deviation from the accepted quotation or contract to the Design Manager in a timely manner
• Maintain and file all drawings in line with company procedure
• To take off quantities from architectural and structural drawings to assist the estimating department when required
• To assist with enquiries from customers
• To undertake site surveys when required
• Chasing and liaising with external consultants when required
• Undertake training as and when required
• To undertake any other work as deemed necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Starting salary dependent on experience.
