Design Verification and Validation Engineer

Location: Vadodara (on-site)

Reports to: CEO

Why this role is different:

What you will do:

• Plan and lead testing at board level and as finished products — electrical, functional, environmental and reliability.
• Write test plans and test cases, and guide a small team of test engineers.
• Take products through EMC, safety and other IEC/EN certifications at accredited labs, including in-house pre-compliance.
• Review designs with the hardware team to catch EMC and reliability problems early.
• Keep design controls and the Design History File audit-ready under ISO 13485.

You will fit well if you have:

• A BE/B.Tech in Electronics, EC or Instrumentation.
• 5+ years in electronics product verification or validation — on the design side, not production inspection.
• Taken part in at least one third-party EMC or safety certification (IEC 61000-4-x, CISPR, IEC 61010, IEC 60601 or similar), including dealing with a failure.
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485 design controls, or a strong willingness to learn them (we sponsor internal auditor training).
• Hands-on use of an oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, and ESD/surge/EFT generators.
• The ability to read schematics and PCB layouts well enough to point at the likely cause of a failure.

Backgrounds that do well here: medical electronics · smart meters and protection relays · power and grid automation · automotive electronics · industrial instrumentation and IoT · accredited EMC/EMI test labs.

Nice to have: ISO 14971 or IEC 62304 exposure · test automation (Python, LabVIEW) · BIS, WPC, CE or CDSCO experience · interest in project coordination.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
