  • Create and present conceptual design proposals to clients, working collaboratively with the Senior Designer and Architectural Designer to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
  • Prepare and present material selections and design packages, assisting with client decisions and recording selections meticulously.
  • Stay informed on current design trends, source materials from approved vendors, and help curate selections that enhance both form and function.

Design Development & Documentation

  • Produce detailed construction drawings and documentation including concept designs, floorplans, interior elevations, finish details, callouts, cabinetry specifications, material selections, fixture selections, and scope documentation using Chief Architect, ensuring clarity for project teams and trade partners.
  • Manage project files and documentation in BuilderTrend software to maintain accurate records and ensure team access to essential data.

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and project team throughout the design and construction process, including regular job site visits.
  • Serve as a key communicator between clients, project managers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Respond to communications professionally during business hours, offering timely and accurate information.

  • Strong collaboration skills with a passion for working as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-centered approach.
  • Proactive, motivated, and eager to continue growing within the remodeling and design industry.
  • Creative problem-solver with a strong understanding of functional design.
