Designer (facade)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed façade shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
• Design aluminium, glass, ACP, curtain wall, cladding, louvers, and steel façade systems.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
• Develop section details, elevations, plans, fixing details, and connection details.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and site teams.
• Review architectural and structural drawings and identify technical issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare material take-offs and quantity calculations for façade works.
• Support the estimation and project teams with technical details and material requirements.
• Coordinate with fabrication and site teams to ensure drawings are practical for manufacturing and installation.
• Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and obtain approvals.
• Maintain proper drawing records and revision control.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in façade design/detailing.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium, glass, ACP, curtain wall, louvers, and steel façade systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/3D software is an advantage.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of façade fabrication and installation is preferred.
• UAE experience is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is preferred/required depending on the position.

Pay: AED0.10 - AED1.00 per month
