Designer - Instrumentation

Qualification:

• Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation Engineering /
• Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering /
• Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering

Experience:

0 to 2 years experience as a Design Engineer in Instrumentation Department of a Chemical / Pharmaceutical manufacturing company or an Engineering Consulting Company.

Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and MS Office is a must.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Role & responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Instrumentation Standards, Basics
• Development of P&IDs Instrument Tagging Philosophy
• Preparation of 2D Cable Tray, JB/RIO, IAM layouts,
• Preparation of Instrumentation Layouts
• Development of 3D plant models
• Extraction of Erection BOQ
• Should be able to review, analyze and understand the Process, Piping and Plant Layout requirements and the P&IDs
• Good knowledge of Piping layouts and should be able to relate to its effect on the Instrumentation.
