DESIGNER ( MECHANICAL)

About the role

Translate customer's requirement and information specifications and generate Design concepts. Evaluate design feasibility and work on final design details to meet customer's Requirements of new project.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer's requirement and information specifications and generate Design concepts
• Evaluate design feasibility and work on final design details to meet customer's Requirements of new project
• Update and maintain drawings to the latest version
• Prepare documentation on technical information
• Responsible for prototype building, testing, and evaluation
• Provide design system for part modifications, cost reduction and other technical support activities to production
• Provide timely and accurate design and drawings for project business
• Help sales personnel in project cost estimation
• Liaise with customers, vendors and related authorities to ensure smooth project flow
• Prepare machine's manual such as SOP 39 and buy-off manual

About you

• Diploma or Degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience
• Able to operate graphic software
• Knowledgeable of International Engineering standard such as SOP 39, SEMI S2, safety requirement
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Required language(s): Malay, Mandarin & English communication (Both Spoken & Written)
• Fluent in Mandarin will be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
