About the role

The Designer / Production Assistant is a hands-on, versatile role spanning design, fashion shoot and event logistics. You'll support the Creative Director and commercial team across magazine production and campaign design, while also managing the practical, on-the-ground logistics behind FQ's shoots and events. This role suits someone who's equally comfortable behind a design program and coordinating a shoot day or event - genuinely varied, fast-paced, and hands-on across both the creative and production sides of how FQ comes together.

Key responsibilities

  • Magazine pages and general production/amends

  • Pre-press coordination, liaising through to final artwork and sign-off

  • On-sale assets and collateral

  • Commercial proposal and post-campaign analysis design

  • Designing digital/social assets

  • Commercial campaign assets and rollovers

  • Event collateral

  • Resizing/adapting assets across formats

  • Scheduling shoots, call sheets, and shoot-day logistics

  • Liaising with talent for shoots

  • Guest list management and RSVPs for events

  • Event management and client/vendor coordination

  • Liaising/outreach with venues (hotels/restaurants)

  • Coordination of menus and tablescapes with venue and creative teams

  • Media confirmations

  • Support quotes and budgeting for shoots and events

  • Picking up/dropping off items (ad hoc, as needed)

About you

  • Some prior experience in design
  • Experience in publishing, media, or events highly regarded
  • Proficient in design software (InDesign, Photoshop, XD or similar)
  • Confident managing multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising directly with talent, vendors, and venues
  • Adaptable, calm under pressure, and genuinely happy moving between creative and logistical tasks in the same day

Benefits

  • Genuine opportunities for career growth within a leading fashion and lifestyle brand
  • Access to exclusive fashion events and industry networking opportunities
  • A creative, fast-paced working environment
  • Flexible hours
