Designer (unpaid work)

Role Description As a Designer at Growth Hive, you will support visual design needs across digital and print materials, such as social media graphics, presentations, and basic branding assets. You will collaborate with team members to understand project goals, translate concepts into clear visual designs, and iterate based on feedback. Typical tasks include creating layouts, selecting colors and typography, preparing assets for publication, and maintaining consistent visual standards. This is a volunteer role, and it is structured as a hybrid position based in Karāchi, with some tasks that can be completed from home and occasional in-person collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational design skills, including layout, typography, color usage, and visual hierarchy.
• Proficiency with common design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Canva, or similar graphic design software).
• Ability to interpret briefs, follow brand guidelines, and communicate ideas clearly through visuals.
• Attention to detail and ability to review and refine work based on feedback.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup in Karāchi.
• Interest in learning, building a portfolio, and contributing time to volunteer projects.
• Previous coursework, self-study, or project experience in graphic or digital design is beneficial.
