What they need
Overview
We are seeking a Designer/Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will ideally possess a background in fabrication, sheet metalwork or facade design. Previous use of 2D/3D CAD is essential.
Responsibilities
- Modelling/drawing sheet metalwork fabrications.
- Generating CAM files and production documentation.
- Interpreting customer requirements and adapting them to work with our accredited systems.
- Liasing with Commercial and Engineering departments to ensure designs meet customer requirements, and also manufacturing capabilities.
Skills
- Proficient in 3D CAD, ideally Solidworks.
- Fabrication design experience using aluminium/steel is desirable.
- Sheet metalwork experience is very desirable.
- Degree/HND in a Design/Engineering field is preferred.
