Reporting to the Desktop Assessing Lead, you'll spend your day managing domestic insurance assessments, partnering with repair suppliers, reviewing repair scopes and costs, resolving escalations, monitoring supplier performance, and working with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer outcomes and continuous improvements.
In your first 6-12 months, success will look like:
- Resolving claims efficiently and accurately.
- Ensuring suppliers consistently meet quality and service expectations.
- Effectively managing repair costs
- Providing customers with a seamless and positive claims experience.
- Maintaining strong partnerships across Tower and its supplier network.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Previous insurance assessing or claims experience.
- Knowledge of building industry and reinstatement methodologies
- Hands-on experience in structural repair procedures and standards
- Thorough knowledge of the Building Act and Local Territory
- Understanding of building contracts
- Experience in administration, cost control, and the preparation of reports
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Knowledge and application of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
- Computer Skills (MS Office, Web Browsing, Digital Images)
We invest in you.
We're serious about looking after our people. Along with a competitive salary, we offer a bunch of perks and benefits to support you and celebrate the work you do:
- 26 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary carer and 4 weeks for partners
- A paid day off on your birthday
- 22 days annual leave, plus two extra annual leave days and the option to buy up to eight more
- Wellness leave
