Desktop Automation Engineer - PowerShell Scripting - J13270

About the Client: You will be working on-site with a global banking giant, employed through a premier international IT consulting firm. The environment operates on a massive scale. They are shifting away from traditional reactive helpdesk support and moving toward proactive, data-driven "Digital Experience" (DEX) monitoring. They want to fix endpoint issues before the user even knows they exist.

The Role & Landscape:

• Build and maintain telemetry dashboards, alerts, and digital experience metrics.
• Develop, tune, and deploy remote actions and self-healing automations to fix underlying desktop/VDI issues permanently.
• Write and execute scripts (primarily PowerShell) to automate manual remediation steps.
• Partner with global Workplace Technology teams to ensure experience metrics are consistent and alert noise is minimized.

What We Are Looking For:

• 3-5+ years in desktop engineering or systems administration.
• Strong, hands-on PowerShell scripting skills. You must be able to write scripts from scratch, not just execute pre-written code.
• Deep administrative knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, VDI, and Active Directory.
• Experience with automation tools (MECM/SCCM, Intune remediation scripts, etc.).
• Note: Direct experience with DEX platforms like Nexthink Act is preferred, but strong PowerShell automation builders will be given equal consideration.
