Desktop Engineer (Entry Level) – Central

Entry-level position

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and client platform-related issues.
• Respond promptly to incidents and service requests, providing temporary or permanent resolutions where appropriate.
• Provide timely updates to users and relevant stakeholders on issue status and resolution.
• Support client platforms, systems, applications, and related IT infrastructure.
• Monitor service levels and ensure incidents and requests are resolved within SLA requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, incidents, resolutions, and reports.
• Support system implementation, deployment, upgrade, and migration activities.
• Assist with system changes through established change request processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and project teams.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing client platform tools and systems.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance IT operations.
• Ensure operational procedures, security requirements, and IT best practices are followed.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Immediate starters preferred
• Strong interest in IT support and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of desktop/laptop troubleshooting and Windows environments would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a healthcare environment.
• Willing to fulfil healthcare vaccination requirements, where applicable.
