DESKTOP ENGINEER

Location: Science Park
Employment Type: 2-Year Renewable Contract
Salary: $2,600 - $3,200
Minimum Qualification: Diploma in IT or a related discipline

Working Hours – Rotating Schedule
Monday – Friday:

• 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Security Requirement: Security clearance under CAT1 is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1–1.5 IT support through the IT Concierge Counter, onsite support, VIP support, self-help kiosks, and user device onboarding/offboarding.
• Manage IT Service Management (ITSM) incidents and service requests, including ticket logging, troubleshooting, resolution, follow-up, and escalation to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when required.
• Promptly escalate security-related incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Troubleshoot end-user hardware and software issues, including Windows, wired/wireless networks, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, account access, password resets, secure token connectivity, USB devices, and laptop/PC compliance issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware-related issues, including Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes.
• Perform software installation and support requests requiring elevated administrator access.
• Conduct software security compliance checks and support USB device whitelisting.
• Assist with the removal and secure erasure of storage media in accordance with security requirements.
• Support third-party vendors when they require access to restricted areas.

Requirements

• Diploma in IT or a related discipline.
• Frontline IT support experience with good customer service skills.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM), incident management, ticketing, troubleshooting, and escalation processes.
• Experience supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals, Windows environments, and basic network connectivity.
• Good communication, problem-solving, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable working in a security-controlled environment and following established security procedures.

• Only approved mobile devices are permitted within the project environment.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,200.00 per month
