Desktop Support Engineer

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our team in Ambattur, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience providing end-user IT support.

Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Provide technical support to end users through remote and on-site assistance.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems and common business applications.
• Manage user accounts, email configuration, and basic Active Directory tasks.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty support.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and document support activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2 years of experience in Desktop Support or IT Support.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and printer management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
