Job Summary

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. The ideal candidate will provide first-line technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite/desk-side technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Handle user incidents and service requests through the IT Service Desk/ticketing system.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for Windows, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.
• Support user account, password, and access-related issues.
• Maintain IT assets and ensure proper documentation of assigned equipment.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate L2/L3 support teams.
• Follow IT support procedures, SLA requirements, and security guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with users in English and the required additional language.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Service Desk, or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with IT ticketing/service management tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Bucharest, Romania.
