Position Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Work Setup: Onsite

Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Shifting Schedule)

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35, Philexcel Business Park, Clark, Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

The Desktop Support Engineer 1 provides entry-level technical support to internal staff by assisting with hardware, software, and a basic network-related issues. This role focuses on frontline technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to desktop and end-user support requests in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Install, configure, and update standard software applications
• Set up desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
• Assist users with login, password resets, and basic access concerns
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Desktop Support Engineer 2 or senior team members
• Maintain accurate documentation of support tickets, solutions, and procedures
• Assist in maintaining the inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
• Provide basic user training on hardware and software usage

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• 0 to 6 months of experience in Information Technology or a related field
• Customer Service Skills Training preferred
• Basic operating systems management skills (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Basic customer service skills
• Basic communication skills
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Basic teamwork and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with network connectivity and troubleshooting (entry-level)
