Desktop Support Engineer

Position: Desktop Support Engineer (3 roles)

Type: Part-time contract

Work model: Remote

Location: Supporting users in Barcelona, Spain or Miszewo , Poland or Changzhou or Shanghai - China

• Configure, image, install and maintain PCs, desk phones, peripherals, mobile phones and other devices, including upgrades

• Provide first-level support for local hardware

• Resolve service desk tickets and log user-reported issues, following ITIL incident and problem management

• Coach users and explain issues and fixes in plain language

• Provision and manage user access

• Track assets and licenses assigned to users

Qualification

• 5+ years across the full range of desktop support, including hardware and software asset management

• End-user support in a service desk, following ITIL and help desk best practice

• Troubleshooting PC hardware, peripherals and applications

• Microsoft 365 / Office 365, Active Directory, and M365 users and groups

• Mobile device management

• Client firewall and antivirus support

• Basic network troubleshooting

• Experience with Cisco Umbrella or Cisco Secure Access, or Zscaler or Palo Alto Prisma Access

• Experience with SolarWinds or similar application

• Professional English
