Job Title:

• Desktop Support Engineer II

Work Setup & Schedule:

• Fully Onsite
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What you’ll be doing:

• User Support: Responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and providing solutions for desktop hardware and software issues.
• Inventory Management: Maintain the IT asset inventory end-to-end — procurement receipt, tagging, issuance, transfer, return, repair, and disposal — ensuring records reconcile with actual physical stock. Conduct scheduled physical audits and stock counts; investigate and document discrepancies. Track software licenses, warranties, and vendor service contracts; flag renewals and shortages. Prepare and release equipment for new hires, and recover and sanitize devices during offboarding, with proper sign-off documentation.
• Software Support: Assisting users with software-related problems, including troubleshooting software errors, providing guidance on software usage, and installing or updating software applications.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Analyzing and diagnosing technical problems, investigating root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions.
• User Training and Documentation: Conducting training sessions for end-users on basic desktop software and hardware usage, best practices, and security measures. Documenting technical procedures, troubleshooting guides, and frequently asked questions (FAQs) to create a knowledge base for future reference.

What will make you a great fit:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer with demonstrated hands-on IT asset or inventory management ownership.
• Graduate of BSIT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, and MDM tools (Intune preferred).
• Willing to work in night shift if necessary (rotating schedule)
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Customer-oriented attitude
• Knowledgeable in Cisco or Fortinet is a plus.
• Preferably living around Metro Manila.
