Desktop Support Engineer L1 and L2

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Provide Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) desktop support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems using various tools such as remote connection software, system monitoring software, and diagnostic utilities.
• Collaborate with other teams to escalate difficult cases or obtain additional resources for resolution.
• Document all incidents, including troubleshooting steps taken, resolutions achieved, and follow-up actions required.

Job Requirements :

• 1-8 years of experience in desktop support engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 7/8/10), macOS (Mac OS X), Linux distributions (Ubuntu/Debian/Fedora).
• Proficiency in basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP) and familiarity with common network protocols like HTTP/FTP/SMTP.
