Desktop Support Engineer | Up to 3.5k

Key Responsibilities

Provide desktop support and troubleshoot hardware, software and IT-related issues.

Receive, prioritise, document and resolve end-user IT support requests.

Perform desktop and laptop imaging and re-imaging.

Conduct IT asset inventory and maintain accurate asset records.

Escalate technical issues to third-party vendors or relevant support teams when necessary.

Update incident records and ensure timely resolution in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Create and maintain work instructions, technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

Perform other relevant IT support duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum ITE or Diploma qualification, with at least 1 year of desktop support experience.

At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365.

Possess at least one relevant IT certification, such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Client or Microsoft Certified: Managing Modern Desktops, or an equivalent certification.

Experience in IT helpdesk, call centre support or remote troubleshooting will be an added advantage.

Good understanding of workstations, hardware, software and related components.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritise tasks and respond to technical issues promptly.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with team members and relevant support teams.
