Desktop Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop, laptop, and printer support to end users.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Install and configure MS Office, Outlook, and other business applications.
• Support user account creation, password resets, and access-related issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot email, VPN, and LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Perform desktop setup, software installation, and system upgrades.
• Troubleshoot issues related to printers, scanners, keyboards, and other peripherals.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and update support tickets.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to users.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT teams.
• Follow IT policies, security guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
• Understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, and VPN.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and password management.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of IT ticketing tools and ITIL processes is an advantage.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
