Despatch Checker

Nancefield Paints is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and organised Despatch Checker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking and verifying stock prepared for dispatch against the relevant stock sheets, picking slips, and dispatch documents to ensure that the correct products, quantities, and product codes are supplied. Duties include physically checking each item against the stock sheet, identifying incorrect items, shortages, excess stock, and damaged goods, reporting discrepancies to the relevant supervisor, ensuring that all stock is accounted for before dispatch, and confirming that orders are accurate and complete before they leave the warehouse. The candidate must ensure that paint products and other stock are handled carefully, maintain accuracy when checking large orders, follow company despatch procedures, and assist with resolving stock discrepancies when required. Applicants should preferably have Grade 12/Matric, with previous experience in stock checking, despatch, warehousing, or inventory control being an advantage. The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail, good numerical skills, the ability to read and follow stock sheets accurately, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The candidate must be honest, punctual, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: From R5 890,00 per month
