Despatch Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and proactive Despatch Coordinator to join our Logistics team. This is an exciting opportunity to build on your logistics knowledge and play a key role in keeping our stock and warehouse operations running smoothly.

This is a shift based role, Monday - Friday, 0600-1400 / 1400 - 2200.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Support existing processes within the current Supply Chain systems.
• Prepare and check all inbound and outbound paperwork.
• Monitor stock returns and pallet configurations on site.
• Timely booking in all work orders and stock updates.
• Ensure all stock counts are reconciled in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate all waste removal from site.
• Control and allocation of all booking slots for goods in/out.
• Liaise with customers to ensure timely collection of goods.
• Maintain the Stocktake programme.
• Correct storage and accuracy of product.
• Operate a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and use barcode scanning tools.
• Maintain H&S requirements across the business.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Confident in using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Works with energy, accuracy and a strong sense of responsibility.
• A team player who actively supports colleagues.
• Flexible and positive approach to change.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
