Despatch Forklift Operator

This is an opportunity for a motivated and autonomous Forklift Operator to become a member of the Hyne Timber family. As a Forklift Operator you will use your forklifting expertise to safely and efficiently provide loading and unloading support for our manufacturing plant. 

• All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production.
• Safely Unloading and loading timber products ranging from 1.2 metres to 12.6 metres onto trucks.
• Picking customer orders with RF guns by forklift or side loader and staging for loading.
• Operation of docking saw.
• Rotating stock and ensuring safe storage of products.
• Stocktake of timber products within the warehouse.

About you

• Able to work morning shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30am until 11:51am & Friday, 3:30am until 10:36am.
• Proven experience as a skilled and responsible Forklift Operator.
• Experience with Combilift / Multidirectional highly regarded.
• Prioritise safety at all times; all our people go home in the same condition they came to work!

• Ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot operational challenges.
• Ability to work as part of a team is essential and to work autonomously when required.
