Destruction Team / General Labor

Overview

Join the Destruction Team as a General Laborer and help keep material handling and disposal operations safe, organized, and environmentally responsible. You’ll support destruction, recycling, sanitation, and solid waste management work, including outdoor tasks and heavy lifting. Your impact: Careful sorting and handling help protect coworkers and communities while directing recyclable and waste materials to appropriate destinations.

Duties

• Sort, move, and process materials for destruction, recycling, or disposal; maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Assist with landfill management and solid waste operations while following hazardous materials regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE), follow safety protocols and regulations, and report hazards or equipment concerns.
• Support manufacturing or related operations through loading, unloading, cleaning, and other general labor tasks.

Skills

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors; outdoor work experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and safe material handling.
• Familiarity with recyclable materials handling, recycling, sanitation, or landfill and solid waste management is an asset.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, use PPE correctly, and comply with hazardous materials and environmental requirements.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
