Dev Ops Engineer

About the role

We are seeking DevOps Engineers (Senior/Mid/Junior levels) to join our fast-growing IT Technology platform. The successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-native infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in AWS, containerization, CI/CD, observability, and security operations, with opportunities to grow into leadership responsibilities depending on experience level.

Key Responsibilities

● Cloud & Infrastructure

1. Design, deploy, and manage AWS services (ECS Fargate, Aurora, ElastiCache, MSK, VPC, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, ALB, Route 53).
2. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (modules, secure remote state, drift detection, multi‑account workflows).

● Containerization & CI/CD

1. Build and secure Docker images (multi‑stage builds, scanning, runtime hardening).
2. Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent), implementing OIDC authentication and advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).

● Networking & Observability

1. Architect secure VPCs, NAT, security groups, NACLs, peering, TLS/mTLS, DNS.
2. Establish observability practices with CloudWatch, Sentry, log aggregation, distributed tracing, and SLO/SLI metrics.

● Security & Operations

1. Enforce IAM least‑privilege, secrets rotation, WAF rules, and compliance standards (SOC2, PCI‑DSS).
2. Operate Cloudflare (WAF, Rate Limiting, Page Rules, Bot Management).
3. Lead incident response, manage on‑call rotations, and administer Linux systems with Bash/Python scripting.

● Architecture

1. Support multi‑tenant SaaS infrastructure (per‑tenant KMS, scaling isolation, blast‑radius mitigation).

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Working Experience Level: 0–6+ years (Junior: 0–2 years, Mid: 2–4 years, Senior: 4–6+ years).
3. Proven AWS experience (minimum 3+ years at meaningful scale for Mid/Senior positions).
4. Strong proficiency in Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions (or equivalent CI/CD) in handling Southeast Asia and China market IT projects.
5. Solid networking fundamentals and observability practices.
6. Strong Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
7. Security‑first mindset with compliance awareness.

Desirable Experience (Nice to Have)

● Cloudflare Workers, Workers KV, R2, Zero Trust.

● Cost optimization (Savings Plans, Spot instances, FinOps)

. ● Kafka/MSK operations (cluster sizing, ACLs, schema registry).

● Redis Cluster administration.

● Disaster Recovery planning (RPO/RTO), multi‑region failover, chaos engineering.

● Service Mesh (App Mesh, Istio) or API Gateways (Kong, AWS API Gateway).
