Dev Team Leader / Software Team Leader – IoT & Enterprise Solutions

We are looking for an experienced IT Software Team Leader to lead our software engineering team based in Kwun Tong. In this leadership role, you will oversee software delivery across our diverse project portfolio, direct team workflows, and drive software architecture and platform scalability.

This is primarily an office-based role, with occasional local client review meetings and occasional visits to our Zhuhai branch software development team for inter-branch communication, alignment, and joint initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Software Team Leadership: Lead, direct, and manage the Hong Kong software development team to ensure high-quality, timely delivery across various software platforms, IoT applications, and enterprise solutions.
• Cross-Branch Coordination: Work closely with our Zhuhai software team, facilitating regular inter-branch communication, technical alignment, joint sprint planning, and occasional branch visits.
• Client Engagement & Reviews: Participate in key client review meetings to gather business requirements, discuss technical roadmaps, and present software system updates.
• Platform Architecture & Integration: Oversee system architecture, software integration with IoT/hardware devices, and continuous improvements to software performance, security, and scalability.
• Project Management & Delivery: Manage software project lifecycles, resource allocation, task priorities, and release schedules across multiple business verticals.
• Quality Assurance & Governance: Establish development standards, code review processes, and system documentation to maintain high system reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track record in leading or managing software development teams.
  • Experience managing offshore or cross-border development teams (e.g., mainland China branches) is a strong plus.

• Technical Skills: Solid background in web/cloud platform architecture, database management, API design, and hardware/software integration.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills; adept at bridging technical teams with business clients.

• Language: Fluent in Cantonese and Putonghua (essential for Zhuhai team coordination), with good written and spoken English.
