Developer Advocate

We're working with our Client to find a Developer Advocate who can do more than just market a product. Ideal candidate would be someone who can get under the skin of technical software, understand why it matters and bring it to life through brilliant content, product advocacy and genuine engagement with the tech community.

This isn't a traditional marketing role.

Our Client's cloud platform connects directly to the APIs of the tools teams already use, bringing everything together in real time without the need for data pipelines or unnecessary data movement.

The product is proven, the opportunity is significant, and now they need someone who can help more people understand why it matters.

What you'll be doing

• Getting hands-on with the product, understanding its features, integrations and use cases.
• Creating engaging content across blogs, product explainers, videos, social media and presentations.
• Translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling stories for DevOps, ITOps, MSP and engineering audiences.
• Building our Client's voice and reputation within technical communities through useful content, conversations, webinars and events.
• Supporting Sales with product messaging, competitive insights and content that helps turn interest into customers.
• Working closely with the CEO, Product, Engineering, Developer Relations and Growth Marketing to bring ideas to life.

Ideal candidate..

Our Client is open to different career backgrounds. You might come from Developer Relations, engineering, technical writing, solutions engineering, product marketing or technical content creation.

What matters most is that you:

• Are a brilliant writer with a natural, engaging voice.
• Have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy understanding how products work.
• Can explain technical features in a way that resonates with technical audiences.
• Enjoy creating content yourself, including videos, demos, blogs and product explainers.
• Are proactive, curious and comfortable taking an idea from concept to delivery.
• Can learn quickly, work independently and use AI intelligently to improve your workflow.
• Experience in observability, monitoring, DevOps, infrastructure or data tooling is a bonus, not a requirement.
• Hands-on doer rather than a traditional marketing strategist. Someone who enjoys creating, experimenting, sharing knowledge and championing a product they believe in.

• Salary up to 80,000
• Fully remote across the UK, with an optional Maidenhead hub.
• Direct access to the CEO and the teams building the product.
