Developer (Full Stack)

Job Purpose:

The Full Stack Developer participate in a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions development, testing, implementation of a variety of applications and softwares in the Birgma Asia information technology application environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regional & Global Collaboration: Work actively as a member of the local development team supporting regional users, while collaborating with the global development team on strategic global initiatives.
• Full SDLC Delivery: Deliver high-quality application programs by participating in all phases of the SDLC (design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance) to meet business requirements and specifications.
• Technical Advisory: Translate complex user requirements into actionable technical designs, providing valuable technical insights to the development team and stakeholders.
• Team Alignment: Work collaboratively within an agile team environment to achieve collective business goals and project milestones.
• System Support & Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, system bugs, and service requests to ensure high system availability and quality deliverables.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant software development experience, preferably within a Multinational Corporation (MNC) supporting overseas offices.
• Availability: Immediate availability or a short notice period is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Architecture: Proven track record of building scalable client/server applications.

• Backend: Strong professional experience in C# and ASP.NET MVC.

• Frontend: Proficiency in ReactJS (highly preferred) or AngularJS, along with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• APIs: Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Databases & Reporting: Solid experience with MS SQL Server and any reporting tools.

• BI & Integration: Knowledge of Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SharePoint, or Python.

• Methodology: Familiarity with Project Management frameworks, ITIL, and ITSM implementation would be an advantage.

• Language & Communication

• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various levels of business users, technical teams, and management.

• Languages:

  • Spoken: Professional fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Written: Excellent written English, with the ability to read and write Chinese.
