Developer – IT Innovation

Context and objective of the role

• Join the IT Innovation team within the IT Department as a developer focused on engineering, maintaining, and improving core AI tools

• The role complements the team's architect by focusing on business enablement, AI security, and custom solutions for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and chatbot management

• The position operates within a liquid team structure with an 80/20 main/flex role split, in close collaboration with business colleagues and stakeholders

Main responsibilities – AI Product Engineering

• Develop and maintain core AI tools, with responsibility for operational uptime and incident response

• Build, configure, and maintain RAG pipelines

• Maintain existing integrations and develop new integrations to internal data sources

• Provide dashboarding and metrics for business insight

• Design, implement, and maintain no-code solutions for RAG bot deployment and management to enable accessible AI adoption for business users

• Manage releases following internally established release management principles

• Ensure all releases are traceable, reversible, and compliant with separation of duties

• Contribute to version tracking and evidence-based deployment

Business-Facing Enablement

• Work alongside the Business Analyst to support configuration, enablement, and troubleshooting for user-facing product journeys

• Participate in problem-shaping, co-design workshops, pilot launches, entity onboarding, and feedback cycles

• Measure adoption and facilitate feedback loops for continuous improvement

AI Security & Compliance

• Support the AI security track by staying up to date with evolving AI security threats and best practices

• Collaborate with the architect to identify risks and improve the security of the AI platform

• Support continuous improvement of accessibility, privacy, and compliance standards for all AI and automation products

Continuous Improvement

• Track and address operational incidents

• Participate in post-incident reviews and monthly performance analysis

• Collaborate with team members to identify improvement signals, adoption analytics, and process feedback

Secondary responsibilities (Flex, 20%)

• Support pilot discovery

• Prototype rapid solutions

• Step into business analysis work as backup when needed

• Assist the architect with infrastructure tasks during peak periods or for complex projects

Profile sought

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Experience deploying user-facing solutions in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure

• Strong experience with AI product development

• Good understanding of data orchestration principles

• Demonstrated understanding of security best practices in the AI domain

• Ability to support and measure adoption, facilitate feedback, and drive improvements across product journeys

• Awareness of accessibility, privacy, and data compliance in technical delivery

• Hands-on, collaborative, results-oriented, proactive, fast learner

• Able to work across functions including product, business, security, and operations

• Fluent in English and French; German and Luxembourgish are an advantage
