Prime Fresh Limited is a BSE-listed agri supply chain company headquartered in India, operating across fresh produce procurement, distribution, and farmer-connected commerce. The company works directly with farming communities and institutional buyers to build a more transparent and efficient agricultural value chain. Prime Fresh is actively investing in technology to modernise its field operations, digital infrastructure, and supply chain intelligence, and is building a dedicated Digital & Automation function to lead this transformation.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hands-on role within the Digital & Automation department, reporting to the Technical Lead. As an AI & Automation Engineer at Prime Fresh, you will be the execution layer for the company's digital initiatives, researching and deploying AI tools, building internal applications, automating operational workflows, and bridging the gap between technology and business teams.

You will work across a live stack that includes a Field Operations ERP, a B2B commerce platform, WhatsApp-based CRM and automation, and precision agriculture tooling, with the mandate to improve, integrate, and extend these systems continuously.

This is not a support role. You will own tasks end-to-end, coordinate with vendors, manage timelines, and deliver working solutions with minimal hand-holding.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in a technical, development, or digital coordination role
• Demonstrated ability to write, test, and deploy working code independently
• Experience working alongside a technical lead or within a small engineering team is a plus
• Portfolio of personal or professional projects, websites, scripts, automations, or AI tools, strongly encouraged

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript (Node.js)
• Experience building or working with REST APIs and backend services
• Familiarity with automation tools or workflow builders such as n8n, Zapier, or Make
• Working knowledge of Git and version control practices
• Basic understanding of databases, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar
• Ability to research and evaluate technologies independently and present structured recommendations
• Strong written communication and documentation habits

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, etc.), or agentic workflows
• Exposure to RAG pipelines, vector databases, or frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph
• Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API or conversational automation platforms
• Experience with React or any modern frontend framework
• Knowledge of containerisation and deployment tools such as Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to ERP systems, CRM platforms, or B2B commerce applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
• Interest in or exposure to agri-tech, supply chain, or rural commerce contexts

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
