We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Development Assistant to join our team and support our fundraising, outreach, and relationship-building efforts. Duties

• Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, including logistics coordination and volunteer management
• Manage and update donor databases using CRM software such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Support digital marketing campaigns through email marketing platforms like Mailchimp and Constant Contact, including content creation and scheduling
• Write compelling grant proposals and donor correspondence to secure funding and cultivate major gifts
• Conduct research on prospective donors, foundations, and grant opportunities to inform strategic planning efforts
• Coordinate donor recognition activities, including stewardship events and personalized communications
• Monitor campaign performance metrics across social media platforms and website content management systems like WordPress to optimize outreach strategies

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit management with a strong understanding of donor cultivation strategies
• Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge for database management
• Excellent written communication skills for proposal writing, grant applications, and donor correspondence
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools including Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and social media management platforms
• Experience in research related to nonprofit industry grants, planned giving, estate planning, Wills & Trusts law is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while demonstrating initiative and strategic thinking

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
