About the Role
As a Development Bogger Operator, you'll support underground mine development by operating LHD equipment to safely and efficiently clear blasted material and keep headings progressing.
You'll work closely with Jumbo Operators, Charge Up Crews and the wider underground team to maintain productive development cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate underground LHD/Bogger equipment safely and efficiently
• Muck development headings following blasting
• Load and move ore and waste to designated locations
• Clean headings and maintain access for development crews
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Identify and report equipment faults and ground hazards
• Work safely around active underground development areas
• Maintain accurate production and operational records
• Work closely with Jumbo, Charge Up and underground crews
• Maintain high standards of safety and productivity

About You
We're looking for experienced underground operators who bring:

• Proven underground Bogger/LHD operating experience
• Experience within underground hard rock mine development
• Strong understanding of underground mining and development cycles
• Experience operating Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT or similar LHD equipment
• Current Driver Licence
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of an underground mining crew

Desirable

• Underground gold or metalliferous mining experience
• Experience across multiple LHD/Bogger models
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Additional underground mining tickets or qualifications
• Experience working within mechanised development crews
