ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Victoria's screen industry is home to some of the country's most exciting creative talent, and we're looking for a Development Coordinator to help support what's next.
Working alongside the Manager, Development, you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of development programs and initiatives that help Victorian creatives build careers, develop standout projects and create screen content that resonates with audiences locally and around the world. You'll be a key connector between creatives, industry stakeholders and VicScreen, combining a passion for the screen industry with strong organisation, administration and relationship management skills.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Supporting the delivery of VicScreen's development programs, from application assessment through to funding administration and project monitoring.
- Working with industry stakeholders, providing guidance, information and support across our programs and initiatives.
- Contributing to industry events, reporting, program reviews and the continuous improvement of systems and processes that support Victoria's screen sector.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
You're passionate about great screen stories and the people behind them. You enjoy working with creative minds and thrive when balancing multiple priorities. You'll also be equipped with;
- Industry Knowledge and Experience: You'll have a sound understanding of the Australian screen industry and a genuine interest in supporting creatives, content development and industry growth. You'll also have demonstrated experience in scripted screen content across development or in a creative administrative role, preferably within the Victorian screen industry.
- Organisation: You love bringing order to complexity, managing competing priorities and ensuring programs, timelines and stakeholders stay on track.
- Relationships: You're a confident communicator who builds positive relationships with a diverse range of people.
- Creative Judgment: You can analyse information, assess ideas and provide considered, and constructive feedback.
