  • Problems faced are complex and may require understanding of broader set of issues using prior experience and systematic analysis.
  • You are expected to drive the root cause analysis across complex signal chain on bus level using CANoe, Wireshark, etc.
  • Implementation of automation for triaging and analysis to improve day to day processes within the team.
  • Collaboration with international development teams and other external and internal partners to increase working efficiency.
  • Understand and familiarize with software release planning, release milestones and incorporate this into decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Electric or related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent skills in software development and programming (C++, Python, bash,…)
  • Experience with debugging and analysis tools like CANoe, Wireshark or others
  • Experience in the development or validation of embedded systems in the automotive or consumer electronics industries
  • Knowledge about ADAS/AD functions in scope for L2/L3 automated driving
  • Experience with E/E integration and signal tracing as well as automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, MOST, …)
  • Knowledge about build systems and compute platforms
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing boundary conditions
  • Good communication skills, ability to formulate thoughts and ideas precisely in verbal and written form
  • Occasional international travel might be required
  • Valid US driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge about vehicles in general or any specific field like sensors, ECUs, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Curious, self-motivated, and excited about solving open-ended challenges at Mercedes-Benz
