Development Manager

Responsible for renewable energy project development in Uzbekistan (solar, wind, energy storage), including project origination, permitting, grid interconnection, stakeholder coordination and PPA negotiation, to drive projects to financial close.

Scope of Work

1. Source and evaluate utility-scale solar, wind and energy storage project opportunities in Uzbekistan.

2. Lead full-cycle project development: site screening, feasibility study, permit application, grid connection and commercial agreement negotiation.

3. Maintain good relations with Ministry of Energy, National Grid Company, National Dispatch Center and relevant authorities to advance official approvals.

4. Monitor local energy policies, prepare project documents and align internal/external parties to resolve project barriers.

5. Carry out commercial negotiations, market research and risk assessment; provide regular progress updates.

Requirements

1. Deep knowledge of Uzbekistan’s power industry and practical experience in solar, wind and energy storage projects.

2. Proven experience in power investment project development.

3. Established working relationships with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy, National Grid Company and National Dispatch Center.

4. Working proficiency in English or Russian.

5. Result-driven, responsible, with strong communication and negotiation capabilities; able to work under pressure and handle multiple projects concurrently.

6. Able to travel to sites as required.
