About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help build, scale, and maintain highly reliable systems powering our logistics and supply chain operations. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to ensure platform stability, observability, scalability, and automation across mission-critical services.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing cloud-native infrastructure, improving system reliability, automating operations, and supporting production environments with high uptime requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of production systems and services.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions for distributed systems.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications in production environments.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Establish and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Support disaster recovery planning, backups, and business continuity initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 34 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Production Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API-driven environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and access management best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or high-transaction environments.
• Exposure to message queues and streaming systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with database reliability and performance tuning (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
• Certification in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices is a plus.
